Many houses in Silver Spring were built in the 1940s and 1950s - a common era for pink, green and yellow ceramic tile. Tile can be expensive to replace. But there are ways around that without breaking the bank.

To get rid of as much pink as possible, we covered the tile on the walls with wainscoting. The shower was out of the budget, so a beautiful pink and gray granite was installed with a new chocolate vanity. Chocolate walls compliment the palette.
