Upon graduation from the University of Maryland (Fear the Turtle!), Donna passed the CPA examination on her first attempt. She accepted a position at Coopers & Lybrand where she excelled for five years with clients like Georgetown University and BDM International. Other companies where Donna gathered valuable experience include: Quintiles, TCOM and the fabulous Ridgewells Caterer.

Love of life
Donna was so inspired by Sark’s books that she decided to form a “Succulent Wild Women” group of her own. The group gives friends and family an excuse to get together, eat a great meal and do something festive such as reading interesting books, hiking in majestic places, journalizing, storytelling, painting or trying the latest HGTV craze. Because of her commitment to live life fully, Donna leads the Pure Energy Team with an attitude that makes selling homes fun.

Family and friends
Family and friends are a priority. Whether Donna’s vacationing in Mexico or Maine, or hosting a weekly “family night” at her newly built home in Silver Spring, Donna sets the example for the Pure Energy Team. When Donna’s not working or spending time with her friends and family, you may find her out walking with Cedar, a yellow lab, golden retriever cross, or curled up with her Norwegian Forest Cat, Murray. Her “boys” are very special to her—as is the total satisfaction of her clients.

Love of dancing
Did you ever want to do something for years and years and finally one day just decide to do it? You know, like the Nike commercials? One day Donna picked up the yellow pages, turned to the dance section and started researching studios. By the end of the next week she had enrolled in a studio to learn foxtrot, waltz, swing, cha-cha and rumba—not to mention mambo, hustle, quickstep and tango. Four years later, she’s still dancing and has even participated in local competitions and showcases. “Sometimes,” admits Donna, “I get so carried away, I think I’m Ginger Rogers!”

Love of travel
Donna loves Silver Spring, but the world is her home. She travels to explore her planet and to refill her energy well. You might find her rafting on rivers, soaking up Asian cultures, sunning in Aruba, climbing Canadian mountains or meditating in Mexico.
