Montgomery Parks operates five dog parks throughout the county. These facilities are popular meeting spots and exercise areas for local dog owners and their canine friends.

WHEATON REGIONAL dog park

11710 Orebaugh Ave., Wheaton, MD Wheaton Regional Park

Located near the old outdoor ice rink in Wheaton Regional Park, this half-acre dog park is enclosed with a 6-foot chain link fence, allowing dogs to run and exercise off-leash. The facility is open for use sunrise to sunset. Please remember that all dogs should be on a leash before entering and exiting the park.

CABIN JOHN dog park

10900 Westlake Drive, Bethesda, MD.
Cabin John Regional Park 

Located near the miniature train in Cabin John Regional Park, this half-acre dog park is enclosed with a 6-foot chain link fence, allowing dogs to run and exercise off-leash. The facility is open for use sunrise to sunset except on Tuesdays from 9AM-11AM for weekly park maintenance. Dog-park users are encouraged to use the Westlake Drive parking lot. Please remember that all dogs should be on a leash before entering and exiting the park.

Located near ball field No. 4 in Olney Manor Recreational Park, this 1-acre dog park features separate play areas for both large and small dogs. The dog park is completely fenced, providing opportunities for off-leash exercise and play. The facility is open for use sunrise to sunset. Please remember that all dogs should be on a leash before entering and exiting the park.
