The Charlie Bowman Garden: Part 2

9117 Flower Avenue was originally on the market last year for a length of time, where it sat, unsold with another agent. While the grounds of this property were certainly unique, Pure Energy realized this level of maintenance would be an unlikely selling point for the average buyer, and decided to take action to whip this property into shape, ultimately increasing the marketability of this property. Teaming up with the Four Seasons Garden Club, the Pure Energy Team undertook the mammoth task of thinning out the abundance of rare and exotic plant life. All the plants that were removed to create the 45 foot diameter grassy entertainment area went to new homes.
By popular request, we have put together a before and after photo gallery of the back yard. Although Charlie Bowmans gardens were beautiful, few people would have the time to invest in the extensive upkeep. Pure Energy's carefully considered transformation of his back yard meant the rare plants he had put so much time and care into, went to loving new homes and the yard became a managable green space.
The complete journey of this amazing landscaping transformation, including a time lapse video and additional photographs, can be viewed here. Don't forget to check out today's article in the Washington Post (and the rather amusing reader comments!).
